If the automatic installation wouldn't work, or if you are running on macOS 10.6 or 10.7, download the Photomatix Pro 6.1 for Mac app directly (i.e. without an installer - you will just need to drag the Photomatix Pro 6 app to your Applications folder).
You may also download that Photomatix Pro for Mac app if you prefer to install manually or in case the automatic installation wouldn't work.If you haven't taken bracketed photos yet, you can download some on the exposure bracketed photos samples page.
The Photomatix Pro download includes plugins for Lightroom and Capture One. The installer will install the plugin that lets you use Photomatix Pro from Lightroom or Capture One if it finds either of these installed on your computer.
